Cowkids Church is a place where kids ages 3-11 can learn about Jesus; what He did for them and what they can do for Him on their level.

It’s a time for games, songs and cookies geared toward any child. If they don’t have Jesus in their heart they get a chance to ask Him before they leave.

The regulars are encouraged to bring a Bible and an offering. We have anywhere from 10-20 regulars (local children) and visitors in town on vacation or visiting. We have had as many as 40-50 children on holidays. Our visiting children often return from year to year.

We try to have a theme from 4 to 6 weeks to help the children remember lessons. In the past we have learned about the Ten Commandments, Noah’s Ark, Jonah and the Big Fish, David and Goliath, and Daniel in the Lion’s Den. We have learned Jewish holidays (Holy Days), feasts and how they affect our Christmas, Easter, and other holidays. One or our favorites each year is Purim, Queen Esther and Haman (the hangman).
